The facilities available to residents of Porto Letizia Fronte Lago will ensure that comfort, convenience and fun can all be enjoyed during your holiday stay!
Set in a beautiful parkland setting on the Lake Lugano lakeshore, residents can enjoy a morning coffee under a parasol on the sunny terrace; enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in the ‘Osterio del Porto’ or sip a ‘Mojito’ in the stylish ‘Panama Bar’ as the sun sets over the tranquil lake and dramatic mountain tops.
The lakefront swimming pool can be enjoyed by residents, young and old as well as the cycle paths which enjoys a scenic route through the parkland and which lead to the beach.
Other convenient on-site facilities include a welcome reception desk, resident parking, laundry room and linen hire, an internet café, optional Wi-Fi internet access, hair salon and boutique & jewellery shop.
As well as providing many onsite resident facilities, the holiday village is ideally located in the Italian town of Porlezza and benefits from easy access to supermarkets, shops, ice-cream parlours, cafés and restaurants. The main Porlezza road also allows for easy and convenient access by car or bus to the cosmopolitan Swiss city of Lugano and Lake Como which can both be reached in 20 minutes by car.
Swimming pool, golf, etc.
Located to the front of the imposing Palazzo Residence in a sunny and lakefront position, the swimming pool offers guests an ideal place to relax or exercise, with sun-loungers around the deck for relaxing and soaking up the Italian sun. Ideally located close to the café and restaurant area, residents can keep a watchful eye on children whilst relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine.
The other sport facilities include tennis nearby, mini-golf, cycling and running.
For golfers - the oldest golf course in Italy, the Menaggio & Cadenabbia golf club, is also located just a 20 minutes drive away on the Menaggio hillside of Lake Como.
Restaurant, café & bar
The restaurant 'Osteria del Porto' and café-bar 'Panama', both authentica, contemporary & well liked - enjoy lakefront views from the covered portico terrace and the outdoor dining area.
An ideal place to wine and dine during a long and unhurried lunch or in the evenings, after a day of visiting the local tourist attractions or lying on the beach.
Shops, hair salon & more
Located by the reception and restaurant area of Porto Letizia - a hair salon, jewellers and boutique shop feature allowing for some well deserved retail and beauty therapy!
There are also many amenities available to local Porlezza residents and visitors in the town, which can be reached easily by car or pedestrian bridge which links the parkland to the town’s picturesque promenade.
Porlezza offers a wide variety of cafés, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, clothes shops and supermarkets and benefits from easy access to the other quaint and pretty villages of Lake Lugano and Lake Como, as well as being close by to the Swiss lakefront city of Lugano.
More supermarkets are conveniently situated in the nearby town of Carlazzo, where you can also find the nature reserve of Lake Piano which features an abundance of wildlife to enjoy.
